Enrollment at Zion is open to all children within our community regardless of race, nationality, or church membership.

We believe that effective guidance and teaching at the early childhood level must involve a total approach to the child. Thus, we seek to guide each student in his/her intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual growth.

We also strongly believe that it is our God-given duty to teach our children the Holy Scriptures, as God has commanded us in Deuteronomy 6:7, “You shall teach them diligently to your children”. Thus, all aspects of our daily classroom experiences are in a Christian atmosphere and environment in which we always stress God’s love to our students and train them in how they should respond back to His love as they relate to others around them and in all aspects of their life.

Melinda can guide you through the registration process, answer your questions, and provide information about our classes and programs. Zion Lutheran School provides classroom education to children ages 2 – 10 in the following programs:

Preschool 2 Years of Age
1 day per week from 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Preschool 3 Years of Age
2 days per week from 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Preschool 4 Years of Age
3 days per week from 8:00 am - 11:00 am OR 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Kindergarten
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

First Grade
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Second Grade
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Day Care and Extend Care

Daycare services are available for children ages 2 through 9 and are students that attend Zion School.
Daycare hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Daycare staff members coordinate with classroom teachers to ensure classroom learning is reinforced in the daycare setting. When registering, parents must identify a weekly schedule for care services. This will include what days before and/or after class services are needed and if services are needed on days when classes are not scheduled for their child. This schedule must be maintained week- to-week and will be the basis of a weekly daycare fee. This weekly fee is assessed whether the child attends daycare or not to hold their spot. When choosing days of attendance please make sure the days circled on the registration form are the ones needed for your schedule. You may change the days free of charge 2 weeks prior to school starting and 2 weeks prior to second semester starting. If changes need to be made at any other time during the school year, a $50.00 fee will be accessed along with a required 2 week notice prior to changes. Daycare availability will be communicated prior to holiday weeks to allow parents to sign up for different days and/or hours as necessary and to adjust the weekly fee accordingly. A two-week advanced written notification to terminate daycare services must be provided to the school office.

Please note daycare will be different in full/part time costs.

• Full time is considered 5 days a week
